David's experience in many industry sectors, internationally and in the UK, make him an ideal non-executive director for mid-sized companies. He worked for 14 years in a public company that grew from revenues of £13m to £700m in 10 years and then went bankrupt 4 years later. This coupled with many years experience in M&A work and with distressed companies means he has first hand experience of a wide range of business issues.

As a character he is calm, measured and always interested in understanding and helping a business he is involved with. He is not afraid to challenge but will always do so in a constructive and diplomatic manner. He is very familiar with the requirements of the boardroom, including the corporate governance principles and stock exchange regulations that govern public companies. He has the financial expertise and the experience to be comfortable with audit committe roles. David has the "grey hair" and breadth of experience to make a real contribution in NED roles.
